We can’t wait to see you at the United Way of Greater Atlanta in Douglas County 5th annual National Day of Prayer United Way Shoebox Project Breakfast on Thursday May 3, 2018 at the Douglasville Conference Center. This year’s event will feature actor, singer and philanthropist Palmer Williams, Jr. as the keynote speaker. Williams is best known as his character, Floyd Jackson on Tyler Perry’s TV show, House of Payne. He has also starred in many popular film and stage productions including Tyler Perry’s, The Haves and the Have Nots and Madea’s Big Happy Family.
The National Day of Prayer United Way Shoebox Project Breakfast demonstrates the power of community involvement and celebrates the National Day of Prayer. Proceeds from the breakfast support the Child Well-Being Impact Fund, which addresses the needs of communities through partnerships that drive sustainable improvements. It also supports the Shoebox Project, which provides much needed items to families and children experiencing homelessness in our area.
The National Day of Prayer United Way Shoebox Project Breakfast is yet another event that signifies United Way’s commitment to community. Individual tickets and group sales are selling fast, but are still available online http://www.cvent.com/d/5tq43d. See you on May 3rd!
